US Airways Bankruptcy Watch: What Liquidation?

US Airways’ CEO refuted comments made by its Chairman 2 days ago when he suggested that the airline would be liquidated soon. Rather, CEO Bruce Lakefield said that Chapter 11 was still a possibility but liquidation was not. The carrier is still looking for $800 million in labor givebacks.
