JetBlue Wants to Fly You, Yes You, to the Bahamas

JetBlue is seeking authority to fly one round trip a day between New York and Nassau, Bahamas, beginning this fall.

As JetBlue builds their Caribbean network, US Airways has very quietly built a substantial network of Caribbean destinations, yesterday announcing flights from Charlotte to Liberia, Costa Rica (ah, untouched Costa Rica, I hardly knew ye) and Barbados, as well as nonstops from Boston to Aruba. With all of the terrible things US Airways is going through, they’ve built a valuable Caribbean service while few were watching.
