US Airways Waves Goodbye to Pittsburgh, Sort Of

US Airways surprised few yesterday by announcing that in November it will reduce Pittsburgh’s status from “hub” to “focus city,” eliminating 135 daily flights and service to 37 cities. Prior to these cutbacks, US Airways was responsible for 80% of Pittsburgh’s flights. I’m sure airport officials are banging on JetBlue’s door…
