Goodbye, Ellington

May 17th, 2004 | By Jared Blank

The Dallas Morning News has a wonderful eulogy for Continental’s soon-to-be discontinued flight from Houston-Ellington to Houston Intercontinental. The flight, which is typically less than 10 minutes and flies at 2,000 feet, was a favorite of frequent fliers in the area, who would get an extra 500 miles for the 28-mile flight. Say goodbye to a small piece of aviation history on September 7th.
