JetGreen Goes Out of Business

May 13th, 2004 | By Jared Blank

JetGreen, a week-old Irish budget carrier has gone out business. Yes, you read that correctly. First they steal JetBlue’s name, then they go out of business in a week. Well done. The tiny carrier offered flights from Ireland to Malaga and Alicante in Spain for $1.20. Hm, what’s wrong with that business model. Let me think. Bad news is, it stranded a 757-worth of travelers in Spain and will not refund the $1.20 to passengers who have already purchased tickets.

  1. I can’t believe it, my co-worker just bought a car for $44501. Isn’t that crazy!
