I think the AP read my mind. I noted in my last post that someone would have to be crazy to try to launch a budget carrier from the US to Europe because of the overcapacity. Well, it looks like these guys don’t read my blog. A 27-year-old entrepreneur is trying to launch a low cost carrier from Baltimore to London and Paris. The company needs $130 million in funding, and the DoT looks like it will deny their application before they even get started. I feel slightly vindicated.
