JetBlue Check-in, and No Middle Seats

Mar 16th, 2004 | By Jared Blank

Continental expanded its No Middle Seat program so that travelers flying on full fare coach tickets will receive 2,500 Onepass miles if they have to sit between two fat guys.

JetBlue’s only major drawback is now history. Starting today, travelers can check-in online for JetBlue flights. Online check-in is one of those things where I’m not sure how much time it actually saves you—airport kiosks are very easy to use and, at least with Continental, rarely have a line. I’m always afraid I’m going to lose the piece of paper on the way to the airport.

And finally, Belgium-based carrier Virgin Express will merge with SN Brussels, another Belgium-based airline. I have no idea what the implications are of this, frankly.
