Taca…Spanish for Cheap

I haven’t written about cheap tickets in a while, so I’ll pass on that Taca (www.taca.com) still has some obscenely cheap $188 r/t fares from New York to Lima, Peru, and from New York to Quito, Ecuador. Taca’s site is miserable—good luck finding those fares. Travelocity has a much better interface for this (search by fare, not by date to find dates where the fares are available)…so use Travelocity, then go back and buy on Taca (Travelocity hates that…). Flights are pretty booked for the next month or two, but I found dates available to Quito in May. That’s crazy cheap.
