It’s been a slow news day, but DO NOT WORRY…that does not mean there wasn’t bad news for US Airways. I haven’t seen a string of bad news from an airline like this since United Airlines last summer.
Four US Airways execs resigned today to head to jobs that did not involve a flailing airline. The departed execs included the VP of flight planning and of labor relations.
In other news, an Iran Air 747-SP made an emergency landing in Beijing, coming to a stop resting on its nose. If you care, the 747-SP is the shorter version of the 747. Whatever. The article I linked to suggests (without an iota of evidence, I must admit) that the age of the plane may be a factor. However, I shall say again, they actually have no idea what happened.
