1) Their site now touts that you can “save up to 10%” off retail. 10%. Up to 10%. Perhaps 2%. And they don’t tell you the flights or times. Veeeeerrrrrrryyyyy enticing. Odd.
(FOLLOW UP TO THE ABOVE: I WAS JUST PLAYING WITH PRICELINE, AND THE SITE SAID I COULD “SAVE UP TO 20%”). That is so odd….Maybe it’s really 15%.
2) They did not accept my offer I made for a flight, but they came back with 2 options:
–I could pay $508 and purchase from their retail site (lowestfare.com), where I would be able to choose my flights.
–OR I could bid $538 and not know my flights beforehand.
Huh?
