Price Discrimination

You think it’s annoying that the guy next to you paid half of what you did for the same flight? So does the European Union Commission. They are investigating a claim that European airlines (though not budget carriers) are charging up to 300% more for the same airline ticket solely based on the country in which the passenger purchased the ticket. Though in typical EU fashion, no one is clear whether they actually have jurisdiction to sanction the airlines if they are found to be doing anything wrong.
